Assignment Details:

1                                            (Handout - 'Acting Is' by Sydney Langosch.)  Read the article and write a short essay (approx. 500 -1000 words) discussing Langosch's ideas.  Do you agree or disagree with his ideas?  How do they relate to the work we have been doing so far?

2                                           Practitioners - Two diary entries reflecting on the uses of practical Brecht and Stanislavski techniques.

3                                           Theatre History - Discussion/group activities observed by tutor and personal research project.

4                                           Whose theatre?  Write a short essay (500 - 1000 words) discussing how relevant you think theatre is in modern society.  Who goes to the theatre and what do they expect form the experience?

5                                           Log books to be referenced/indexed.
